System Architecture

MTsystem is an automatic testers family, designed for production requirements, but is well suited for laboratory use, too.

It is managed by th proprietary CRMT modular controller, interfaced via serial line to a PC (programming station) in very friendly Windowsä environment. The PC allows the user to easily define and debug TPGs, store and recall them, collect, display and record test results, print reports and compute statistics.

According to the HW configuration, it is possible to use the different functions to perfom several typologies of tests.

Like the hardware, the software is modular and configurable, thus allowing customizations or upgradings of the system.

The test is performed executing a testprogram file (TPG): it is the "DNA" of a MTsystem tester: it contains all informations needed to perform tests, evaluate results, drive automation and switch matrices, select output bins.

The testprogram (TPG) very flexible: it is composed by a sequence of steps (basic tests)

you can configure as many steps as you want, in any order you want
each step defines the kind of test to be performed, on which junction (for multiple device modules), the parameters values, and measure settings
each step result can direct the TPG flow in two ways:
"if PASS goto <Step X>" and "if FAIL goto <Step Y>"
partial results combination is totally free: you can set as many condition as you want in order to operate a classification.
TPG is defined in the editor environment, where you can run and debug the single steps; it can be saved to and loaded from ASCII files, and downloaded to the CRMT controller for execution.
